As an instructional coach, I conduct 2-3 observations of the teachers that I coach each week. This document from Whetstone, which is a website we use to organize our observation feedback and track teacher's progress, captures a debrief meeting that I facilitated with one of the teachers that I coach and provide her with an instructional goal.
2B: Focus on Instructional Time
The school executive creates processes and schedules which protect teachers from disruption of instructional or preparation time.
As the 4th Grade Level Chair, I frequently modify the schedule in order to accommodate various events or full school celebrations. This schedule captures the times of classes and additional details that I created in order to ensure the schedule ran smoothly.
